A great end to my busy week meeting Finance Professionals! Over lunch I met with an individual who has over 12 years Banking and Financial services experience who is a specialist in Risk, Compliance and Controls. Immediately available for work, she began her career managing compliance and risk policies at branch level for a building society which included holding control and audit workshops for staff.
Following this, she joined one of the Big 4 working in Audit, Risk and Regulation. This really helped scope her career and develop her experience giving her exposure to new areas. It included leading various internal audits and control assessments.
More recently, she led a PSD Regulations project for a global Banking business, which involved compliance monitoring, testing, controlling the environment and embedding reporting teams.
