You’ve worked hard academically since you can remember. Late nights studying, stressful exams, but, the results will soon pay off with your degree. Now, your attention is turning towards the right graduate role.
Perhaps you graduated in 2019, and you’ve taken some time off for travelling, or, perhaps you graduate next year. Either way, this could be a fantastic opportunity for you with a great business based in Kettering.
A lot of grad roles, ask for placement years, making getting that first opportunity tough. This role however cares more about your potential than your current experience.
It’s a great chance to join a fantastic company, but, in a medium sized finance team. The great thing about the role is, rather than being one of a hundred in finance. You’ll be more like 1 in 10. The development opportunities, the training and the support will be geared all around you. The fact it’s not a huge finance team won’t hinder your progression. The route to go up and up is mapped out. It’s yours to take.
It goes without saying, full study support for CIMA/ACCA is provided. The role is likely to turn more analytical and business partnering focused in the future, therefore CIMA would be preferred.
THE ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
In the first 6 months, you’ll be finding your feet. You’ll be learning from a highly skilled team who have been there and done it. Your role will evolve in-line with your studies and you will learn everything from the ground level. At the start, it will be some more finance admin work, but, in the future you’ll be managing people doing this role, so you need to know how to do it yourself. As you develop, you’ll take on more. The role will become more analytical, within 12-18 months you’ll be working on budgets, forecasts, KPI reports and variances. You will also provide business partnering support further down the line to a blend of stakeholders.
Put simply, your work will tie win perfectly with your studies.
A rare opportunity to get such rounded experience.
- A strong academic record
- Commitment to developing in this role for the coming years.
