Finance Manager | £6 million SME | Derby | £40,000 to £45,000 + 10% Bonus 

Are you looking for an all-round Finance Manager role, working for an ambitious SME? The business have seen impressive growth in the last 12 months and are well on-track to double last year’s turnover. They are now in a position to recruit a newly created Finance Manager role to report in to the Head of Finance.

You’ll be given loads of variety; ranging from covering the day to day financial and management accounting to supporting with a new system implementation and project support for a new subsidiary which is being opened.

You will need to be hands-on and happy to cover all aspects of finance when required. Qualifications aren’t important for this role, however, the Head of Finance would ideally like somebody with strong corporation tax and financial accounting skills.



  • Preparation of monthly management accounts pack
  • Day to day financial accounting (cash management, AP, AR, credit control, bookkeeping)
  • Preparation of financial statements
  • Month-end (accruals, prepayments, journals)
  • Support with budgeting and forecasting
  • Statutory accounting (corporation tax, VAT, HMRC)
  • Support with new finance system implementation
  • Accounting for foreign subsidiary



  • ACA / ACCA / CIMA (Qualified by Experience also considered)
  • Strong financial accounting background
  • Corporation tax experience beneficial
