OVERVIEW

An East Midlands based FMCG manufacturer is looking for a Buyer to join their indirect purchasing team.

There are great foundations in place including visibility of 90% of spend, knowledge of which contracts and projects need focus over the next 12-24 months, and a good procurement reputation across the business.

The missing link is you. You’ll be supporting the drive to start adding real value through good procurement, and that’s exactly what you can do here.

In 5 years time, the business is going to be 4 times bigger than what is was a few years ago. They’re already halfway there.

Which means procurement isn’t just about driving costs down. You’ll be a Buyer in team that is focussing on proper procurement management, putting suppliers and solutions in place that benefit the longevity and growth of the business, and delivering indirect procurement strategy plans.

You’ll be developing a great skill set, in a business that takes procurement seriously. It’s a great CV builder which will get you noticed in a business that likes to develop from within.

If you’re a Buyer with a background within FMCG (ideally covering indirect / services categories) and keen to know more, we’d love to hear from you.
