OVERVIEW

The role of Account Manager requires a result driven action orientated individual who is well organised and a team player. They are a good active listener, with excellent multi-lingual communication skills, adaptable to change and have a winning attitude.

 

THE ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Customer Visits (mainly Munich, Germany and Paris, France with some travel to Benelux, Scandinavia +)
  • Prospecting
  • Global Key Account Management, leading a team using key account tools and techniques
  • Reporting (producing customer plans, Salesforce.com, admin tasks, contributing to monthly sales and marketing meeting, mentoring Inside Sales)
  • Be the Voice of customer within the business
  • Produce clear agendas for customer meetings and promote and chair cross functional customer meeting
  • Managing and nurturing relationships
  • Accurate forecasting
  • Maximise time in front of the customer

 

REQUIREMENTS

Essential: –

  • Educated to degree level (or equivalent) in an engineering or business related field
  • Proven track record in a proactive sales role
  • Experience of outside B2B sales and B2B global key account management in a technical manufactured product business
  • Proven track business of winning new business and growing accounts

Desirable: –

  • Bilingual – English plus French and/or German
