You’re a true problem solver at the top of your game, with knowledge of a broad range of techs and always looking to learn more? You’re looking for a contract where you will be challenged daily, surrounded by like-minded people, have fun and above all, add real value?
I only want to speak to the very best Technical Support Engineers for this transformation project. I need two contractors, each for 12 months to help this organisation through a very busy period. The company continue to grow rapidly through acquisition, meaning the environment is constantly evolving – the crux of this role is to continually make improvements & recommend and implement the right over-arching solutions to enable the business to keep striding forwards.
THE ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
If you’ve worked in a large managed service company before you’ll know what it’s like, no two days are the same, the escalations can be about anything and everything and you learn something new every day. If you like that, you’ll love this. You’ll be joining a small but highly effective team of technical experts with a real team ethic – they collaborate on ideas, challenge each other, problem solve, banter endlessly, and get the job done.
Their strategy around how to maintain an environment that works for everyone as they continue to acquire new businesses, is to create an over-arching environment that all others can integrate with. Their chosen techs for this environment are VMWare, Hyper-V, Cisco, FortiGate, Veeam & Azure. To be successful you will need to tick all of these boxes, plus articulate how you have previously taken an environment & transformed it for the better. Due to the size of the businesses acquired by this company you’ll also need experience of handling large migrations, ideally for corporate and/or heavily regulated companies. If you’re the right person for the job, you’ll probably also use your existing knowledge make recommendations on how to improve on their ideas too.
This is the best Technical Support contract I’ve come across in a while, you don’t want to miss out. Interview slots are agreed for the first week in May so if you are a contractor looking to start a new role in the next few weeks, or if you’re a permanent Support Engineer on a short notice period who is looking to make the jump into contracting, don’t delay – apply now for immediate consideration!
