OVERVIEW

A wonderful opportunity has arisen to be a part of a small team in a manufacturing organisation as a HR Systems & Engagement Officer.  Working within the busy HR team you’ll be the go to person for HR data and analytics, the business has just introduced a new HRIRS system and has identified the need for people decisions to be grounded in robust data and management information.

THE ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supervise HR operational activities ensuring vetting processes are implemented and service level agreements are met for processing of employee information
  • Ensure that employee data is processed via the HRIS System accurately and within timescales, ensuring the right information reaches payroll
  • Support the HR Service Delivery Manager to ensure the delivery of a legally compliant and customer focused service
  • Carry out HR project work including identifying and implementing employment processes for regulatory projects
  • Ad hoc support of service delivery activities including reward governance, annual salary review project work, researching and preparing papers where appropriate
  • Provide support to payroll and HR teams with processing of activities, training and identifying procedures
  • Work closely with the resourcing team to ensure the best onboarding journey for prospective employees

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience of process design and management, service level agreements, and identification and production of management information
  • Proven experience of generation HR metrics and of using HR Information Systems
  • Experience of delivering HR administration and generalist hr services for a geographically dispersed organisation with multiple terms and conditions of employment
  • Knowledge of employment contracts, discipline grievance and absence management processes – preferred
  • Experience of researching and interpreting complex information
