OVERVIEW

Do you want to join a well-established business that is going through exciting changes and that is investing heavily in its future?  Working closely with the Head of HR you’ll be providing technical and strategic reward support across several business units throughout the UK.

From a reward perspective, there is lots to be done and you’ll really have the opportunity to help shape the reward agenda to support the transformational change, but don’t worry you won’t be on your own, you’ll have a fantastic team to lead and a great peer group around you…

 

 

 

 

THE ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Working with stakeholders across HR and the business to manage the ‘in year’ reward and benefits plan for the organisation
  • Supporting and providing advice and guidance to leaders and colleagues on a wide range of areas of reward including pay, benefits, pension, recognition, external benchmarking and job/ grade evaluation.
  • Working closely with HR colleagues to devise reward policies and practices to enable successful delivery of all elements of the reward strategy
  • Undertake internal salary analysis, internal and external job pricing, benchmarking exercises and external market analysis as required
  • Manage the employee benefits offer on a day to day basis- reviewing and proposing changes as a result of evidence-based analysis
  • Leading a small team of Reward Advisors to help support advise leaders with their queries
  • Identify and deliver tools and resources to ensure managers are competent and confident in managing performance

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience in supporting and delivering a broad range of reward initiatives
  • Previous experience in setting up and running performance management processes
  • Knowledge and previous experience of modern reward policies and approaches
  • Knowledge and understanding of the link between reward and performance
  • Proven leadership capability
  • Previous experience of managing external service providers
  • Ability to influence and build relationships with senior managers
