OVERVIEW

Based in the heart of Nottinghamshire, this growing organisation is the place to be for a HR professional who really wants to get stuck in and shape the future reward and performance agenda. You’ll be supporting the Head of reward in shaping the reward strategy, bringing in external insights to the organisation with an ‘outside in’ mindset, and implementing the ‘in year’ plans.

THE ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Working with colleagues in Reward and across HR to manage the ‘in year’ reward and benefits plan for the organisation the organisation, ensuring it supports the overall business objectives.
  • Provide operational advice and reward expertise to internationally based managers
  • Identify and deliver tools and resources to ensure managers are competent and confident in managing performance
  • Leading a small team of Reward Advisors to help support advise leaders with their queries
  • Undertake research and benchmarking into market related reward to inform and shape the reward strategy
  • Conduct external benchmarking of reward and benefits for new or specialist roles to enable HR stakeholders to make appropriate recommendations to the business
  • Develop and deliver governance processes to reward ensuring consistent implementation of the colleague offer
  • Define and implement and performance related pay elements, ensuring that processes are fair, consistent and supported by objective evidence

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience in supporting and delivering a broad range of reward initiatives
  • Previous experience in setting up and running performance management processes
  • Knowledge and previous experience of modern reward policies and approaches
  • Knowledge and understanding of the link between reward and performance
  • Proven leadership capability
  • Previous experience of managing external service providers
  • Ability to influence and build relationships with senior managers
