Founded only 3 years ago, the development and product team at this Insurtech worked tirelessly to develop a disruptive value proposition based on leading edge technology (think CQRS, Microservices, Azure). This was driven by their desire to realise the vision of greatly improved insurance claims experience for customers.

Fast forward two years and their SaaS Insurtech product was awarded the ‘Best Use of Technology For Customer Experience’ at the Insurance Times Tech & Innovation Awards 2017.

Now that is what you call market disruption. This is RightIndem, and now the opportunity has arisen where you can join the party.

 

THE ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

RightIndem believe in creating and developing a high performance engineering culture; one where everyone can constructively challenge and input, understands their right to be developed as individuals and works with the utmost collaboration towards a shared goal.

You will take helm of this structure and will typify the culture, dynamic and performance of this 10 strong software engineering team.

Product will be at the core of what you do. You will be the beating heart of RI’s development capability and will run an Agile driven ship developing robust, scalable and above all else a high-quality customer focused application.

 

REQUIREMENTS

You will be proven in your experience of delivering high quality software products to market, with a relentless focus on quality. You will have your own blueprint on how to develop an enthusiastic and committed team culture where the delivery of quality product is infectious. People will want to work with you and will put their trust in you in terms of developing them as individuals.

You will be proven in your ability to manage a development team of 5+, in addition to:

  • Having worked within an SaaS environment
  • Holding deep Microsoft stack experience (c#v5 , .net v4)
  • Knowledge of JS ES6 in addition to many frameworks ( React , redux, angular , node etc)
  • Be able to slip seamlessly into an Agile set up
  • Being well versed in TDD / DDD
