A truly wonderful candidate whose experience includes working within Charity, Retail and Service industries. What makes her different you may ask? Several things really! Here is some information based on our meeting this morning.
She embarked on her finance career working for SME’s including a start-up company where she developed her skills from a general bookkeeper, to someone who was responsible for producing and presenting month-end accounts for multiple subsidiaries. Since this she was given the opportunity to work for major Retailers Specsavers and Vision Express where she completed an interim assignment specialising in VAT moving to a permanent role as Divisional Management Accountant. She has also worked as a Finance BP for a large events business which gave her massive exposure to working with stakeholder at all levels.
Finally, proving that she is agile enough to across different industries she completed a contract working for the Renewals Trust as a FD which she absolutely loved.
In addition to monthly reporting and accounts preparation, her particular strengths include balance sheets reconciliations, cash flow control and analysis, profit and loss analysis, budgeting and forecasting.
She is extremely charismatic and engaging. I can see her working with just about anyone in a business. She is able to talk to non-financial people in a language they understand, in fact, she loves working with people. She has a lovely way about her, which is hard to covey unless you get the opportunity to meet her.
Residing in Nottingham she will consider interim, fixed term contract and permanent positions from around £45K.
